MITLY - APPROVED PUBLIC PROFILE RULES

Effective Date: 06/25/2026

Legal Contact: support@mitlyapp.com

These Rules provide operational requirements for approved public profiles, profile applications, public directory listings, public-plan request responses, messaging, and safety-related conduct.

1. Application and Approval

Mitly may require an application, profile setup, acknowledgements, profile review, verification review, photo review, or additional information before approving a public profile. Approval is discretionary and may be revoked at any time.

Approval does not guarantee identity, safety, suitability, legality, character, reliability, availability, or future conduct. Approval does not create employment, agency, partnership, endorsement, certification, or a service-provider relationship with Mitly.

2. Listing Standards

Approved public profiles must maintain listings that are accurate, current, lawful, respectful, and consistent with Mitly's public-only model. Profiles should focus on public activities, interests, city, general availability, public-plan preferences, and appropriate social planning information.

Profiles may not include sexual, adult-oriented, private-location, illegal, exploitative, discriminatory, misleading, violent, threatening, or deceptive language. Profiles may not advertise services prohibited by Mitly.

3. Availability and Public-Plan Expectations

Availability fields and public-plan expectations are for planning only. They do not guarantee attendance, acceptance, response, or outcome. Approved public profiles should keep availability reasonably current and should avoid accepting plans they do not intend to attend.

Any profile field that describes expectations must not imply that Mitly processes user-to-user payments, guarantees payment, guarantees attendance, or sells access to the approved public profile.

4. Public Venue Requirement

Approved public profiles must keep public-plan discussions and acceptances limited to lawful public venues or public events. Approved public profiles may not accept requests for private homes, hotel rooms, private rooms, vehicles as primary locations, secluded areas, or settings inconsistent with Mitly's public-only purpose.

5. No Prohibited Services or Coded Language

Approved public profiles may not use coded language, hints, emojis, euphemisms, off-platform instructions, pricing language, private-location language, or profile wording to imply prohibited adult-oriented, sexual, private-location, exploitative, coercive, trafficking-related, or unlawful activity.

Mitly may act on attempted evasion even if no prohibited plan is completed.

6. No Finance, Payout, Tip, or Withdrawal Claims Against Mitly

Under the new membership model, Mitly does not maintain approved public profile earnings, payout balances, withdrawal tools, Stripe Connect onboarding, tip flows, or release-of-funds workflows. Approved public profiles must not tell members that Mitly will pay them, that Mitly is holding funds, or that Mitly guarantees separate amounts.

7. Member Communications

Approved public profiles must respect member boundaries and may not harass, threaten, shame, manipulate, exploit, retaliate, or repeatedly contact members who decline or stop responding. Approved public profiles must not pressure members to hide details, move to private settings, avoid reports, disable safety tools, or violate Mitly's rules.

8. Safety Tools and Reports

Approved public profiles may use Mitly's manual check-in, checkout, report, emergency button, and messaging records where available. These tools are optional support and recordkeeping features only. Approved public profiles remain responsible for personal safety decisions and should contact emergency services first in immediate danger.

9. Cancellations, No-Shows, and Professional Conduct

Approved public profiles should communicate promptly when declining, cancelling, or changing a public plan. Repeated no-shows, misleading acceptances, abusive cancellation patterns, unsafe behavior, or disruptive conduct may result in restriction or removal.

10. Enforcement and Review

Mitly may review profile content, requests, messages, reports, safety records, account history, and technical signals. Mitly may hide a profile, require edits, suspend request access, restrict messaging, revoke approval, ban an account, or preserve records where Mitly believes action is appropriate.

11. Contact

Questions about approved public profile rules may be sent to support@mitlyapp.com. Immediate danger should be reported to 911 or local emergency services first.
