This Code applies to users who apply for, create, maintain, or operate an approved public profile on Mitly.

1. Role of an Approved Public Profile

An approved public profile is a directory listing and account type that may receive public-plan requests from members. Approval to appear in Mitly's directory is not employment, agency, endorsement, certification, safety guarantee, background guarantee, or authorization to provide services on behalf of Mitly.

Approved public profiles use Mitly for profile listing, public-plan requests, messaging, reporting, and optional manual safety tools. Mitly does not pay approved public profiles and does not process user-to-user amounts.

2. Accuracy and Profile Integrity

Approved public profiles must provide accurate, current, and non-misleading information. Profile photos, public biography, city, availability, interests, tags, public-plan expectations, and other visible information must be truthful and consistent with Mitly's public-only model.

Profiles may not imply sexual availability, private-location availability, escort services, adult-oriented services, guaranteed attendance, guaranteed outcomes, Mitly employment, Mitly endorsement, or Mitly-managed payment.

3. Public-Only Participation

Approved public profiles may respond only to lawful public-plan requests that comply with Mitly's rules. Approved public profiles must not accept, encourage, negotiate, imply, or complete prohibited sexual, adult-oriented, private-location, exploitative, coercive, trafficking-related, unlawful, or unsafe activity.

If a member requests a prohibited plan, pressures for a private location, makes a sexual or adult-oriented request, offers improper payment, threatens, harasses, or otherwise violates Mitly's rules, the approved public profile should decline, disengage, block where available, and report the conduct.

4. No Mitly Payouts or Finance Relationship

Mitly does not process, collect, escrow, hold, tip, withdraw, release, pay out, verify, guarantee, refund, reverse, or resolve separate user-to-user amounts. Approved public profiles do not have Mitly earnings, Mitly payouts, Mitly withdrawal rights, or Stripe Connect payout flows under the new membership model.

Approved public profiles must not represent that Mitly owes them money for public plans, that Mitly guarantees payment, that Mitly releases funds after a plan, or that Mitly manages user-to-user amounts.

5. Messaging and Response Conduct

Approved public profiles should communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally. They may accept, decline, ignore, request clarification, or message regarding public-plan requests. They must not pressure members, shame members, threaten members, solicit prohibited conduct, request private locations, or use messages to evade Mitly's rules.

Approved public profiles should not request unnecessary sensitive personal information, financial credentials, passwords, private addresses, identity documents, or other high-risk information from members.

6. Safety and Boundaries

Approved public profiles are responsible for their own boundaries and safety decisions. They should choose public venues, keep transportation control, communicate clearly, use reasonable judgment, and leave if uncomfortable.

Mitly's check-in, checkout, report, emergency button, and admin review tools are optional manual support and recordkeeping tools. They do not create live monitoring, personal protection, emergency dispatch, rescue, police response, or guaranteed safety.

7. Content and Photos

Photos and profile content must be lawful, respectful, non-sexual, non-adult-oriented, non-exploitative, and consistent with Mitly's public social planning purpose. Content may not include explicit material, private identifying information, deceptive claims, third-party content without permission, or content that creates legal, safety, payment, or platform-risk concerns.

8. Moderation and Removal

Mitly may approve, reject, edit, hide, suspend, limit, or remove approved public profiles at any time if Mitly believes a profile violates rules, creates risk, misleads users, receives credible reports, causes payment-risk concerns, harms trust, or is inconsistent with the platform model.

Mitly is not required to provide advance notice, detailed evidence, or an appeal process before taking moderation action, except where required by law.

9. Acceptance of Code

By applying for, creating, maintaining, or using an approved public profile, you agree to this Code, the Approved Public Profile Rules, Terms of Use, Community Rules, Safety Guidelines, Emergency Policy, and all related Mitly policies.
